The Layout

The reserve area is located at the top left corner of the screen. To the right of the reserve area (The reserve consists of the thirteen cards that are left over after the tableau has been dealt. The reserve area is located at the upper left hand corner of the window. Cards in the reserve may be moved onto cards in the tableau, or moved up into the foundations.) are four foundations. (The foundation consists of four cards. The last three cards must be of the same rank as the card in the first foundation. The cards must be placed in the foundation row as soon as available: they may not be used or built upon in the tableau. Each foundation must be built up in the same suit, and in ascending sequence. The sequence in the suit is continuous with Aces being played upon Kings, and so on.) The tableau (The tableau consists of the four columns of cards that are dealt below the foundations. The cards in the tableau may be moved onto other cards in the tableau, or moved up into the foundations.) is located below the foundations.
